AP/AR Manager to Leaseplan

On behalf of Leaseplan we are seraching for a driven and process-oriented Manager for the AP/AR team. This is a newly created position within Leaseplans finance function with the purpose to take ownership of the day to day operations within the AP/AR team, which consists of six employees. Part of your responsibility will be to develop the daily processes to stengthen the teams ability to reach their KPIs, whilst it will also require you to support your team hands-on in their respective daily tasks. As the AP/AR Manager you will directly manage an experienced team and will report to the Finance Director. The role is placed at the Leaseplan headoffice in Solna.

Job description

  • Responsible for the daily bookkeeping, monitoring banking activities, prepare weekly cashflow forecast
  • Maintenance of book of accounting including AP, AR, accruals and Intercompany
  • Ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and debt collection
  • Measure, monitor and steer on departmental KPI relating to invoicing, AP, AR and processing bankstatements
  • Be the link between the commercial and credit risk team. Ensuring customer finance issues are dealt with, minimizing bad debt and highlighting business risks to the risk team
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the AP/AR team
  • Actively participate in ongoing projects pertaining to the development of processes and procedures for the finance department

Your background

  • Relevant degree in finance
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting and finance experience
  • Previous experience of successfully leading or managing a team
  • Working knowledge of Swedish GAAP and reportring requirements
  • You are detail oriented and work with a high degree of accuracy
  • Demonstrated ability to work effecitvely in a team while you’re not afraid to work handson
  • Full working proficiency in Swedish and English
